Do we need to replace our existing tools?

How long does setup take?

Setup starts from the contract, not a blank template. You enter the contract particulars, valuation cadence and notice periods once; FlowMetrics derives the payment schedule and key dates from them. For a scheme with an agreed contract, that is a matter of days, not a system implementation.

Which contract forms does FlowMetrics support?

The JCT suite: Design and Build, Standard, Intermediate and Minor Works. Valuation cycles, payment notices, pay less windows and final dates for payment all follow the form you are working under. NEC4 and FIDIC contracts can be recorded with their own date logic.

Our contract is amended. Does the date logic still work?

Yes. Every contractual period in FlowMetrics is configurable per contract, so if your amendments change the payment notice period or the final date for payment, the schedule follows your amendments rather than the unamended standard positions.

Who can see what on a project?

Accepted Answer

Access is set per person, per project. The right to sign payment notices is a separate permission, so approval never sits with whoever happens to be logged in, and view access can be granted without edit or signing rights.

What does the audit trail actually record?

Every change to the commercial record is kept as an append-only history with the user and timestamp attached, and records cannot be quietly edited or deleted afterwards. When a figure is challenged months later, you can show what was entered, by whom, and when.

How do funders and lenders receive information?

As outputs from the record the project actually runs on: certified positions, drawdown packs and board reports generated from live data rather than rebuilt in a spreadsheet each month. The numbers your funder sees are the numbers your team is working from.
